Racecourses

The Briggs Racecourse Irrigator has been developed specifically for the demands of the modern Racing World and has been introduced on many courses both here in the UK and around the world.

Galway Racecourse

PJ Dore & Co.Ltd installed a Briggs racecourse irrigation system in Galway Racecourse in 2008. Galway was the first racecourse in Ireland to benefit from this irrigation system. Accurate, uniform irrigation with high flow rates can be achieved with one man operation, even in windy conditions. Two Briggs racecourse irrigators with a boom width of 30metres can water the course in 6hrs with a fully automatic diesal powered pump capable of pumping over 100m3/hr.

We have also installed irrigation systems in Ballinrobe, Leopardstown, Naas and Cork racecourses. For more information on these projects please get in touch using the contact details below.
