Bauer
PJ Dore & Co. specialise in the installation of sports field irrigation systems.
The Bauer Autorain and Rainboy irrigators are reel based systems that come in various sizes to suit your specific requirements. To operate the system the reel is placed in position at one end of the field and the hose is pulled out to the other end of the field. The end of the hose is attached to the sprayer head on wheels.
The water pressure from the pumping system powers the reel and it rotates gradually drawing in the sprayer head along the full length of the field. The Bauer Autorain and Rainboy systems provide an even and efficient distribution of water to encourage optimum grass cover and growth.
The water application rate and the speed of the machine are easily altered and controlled. The winding mechanism ensures careful and precise reeling in of the hose time after time. At the end of it’s run the Bauer systems automatically switch off. The reel is then relocated for another run.

Briggs Rotorainer

The Briggs Rotorainer provides an extremely efficient method of properly irrigating your sportsfield. The rotorainer is placed at one end of the field and a light but durable wire rope is run to the other end of the field. The trailing hose which is attached to the back of the Rotorainer provides a high pressure water supply to the machine.
The Briggs Rotorainer operates from the water pressure generated by the pumping system. The revolving boom arms drive a toothed drum which pulls the machine along a wire rope.
This provides an even and efficient distribution of water.Once the machine reaches a predetermined point along the wire rope it automatically switches off.
The machine can be folded into a very compact size for transportation between sites.
